How does ClearCorrect work?
This system can only be prescribed by a certified dentist. You will need a dental exam and consultation to learn if ClearCorrect is the best option for your situation. If so, mouth impressions and images are taken for the ClearCorrect laboratory. Dental records and X-rays are also sent. Then, the laboratory creates a 3D model of your teeth to plan the most effective treatment plan.
Your custom-made aligners and treatment plan involves four phases. Each aligner is to be used for three weeks before graduating to the next one. The aligners need to be worn all the time except while eating, drinking, teeth brushing, and flossing. Following the directions your dentist provides will offer the best results. Be sure to ask questions if you are unsure or need more clarification.
You will begin to notice results as you progress through the treatment plan. Individual plans may be from one to two years. During your treatment, your dentist will follow-up with you to examine the progress. Treatment plans will vary between patients and include one of the following options:
Unlimited Plan: A patient has a custom amount of aligners needed for the best results.
Limited 12: The plan includes 12 aligners.
Limited 6: The plan includes 6 aligners.
